Sibu with Yoges

the flowery tattoo on the shoulder signifies warrior status. I think criteria to get one of these flower tattoos is 1 human skull at the least!



i really love this shot. the play of the light on our faces is superb.

this is the boat like thing that the Ibans build for their Hari Gawai. Not everyone builds it, you need to dream of it first.



meet the chicken chaser. U get a plastic can attached to your neck as a punishment and to deter you from chasing chickens. I thought it was a tad cruel, then i stepped out of the long house and saw so many dogs with all kinda stuff attached to them!! chicken chasers!!!



we were so curious to try the roti canai goreng.. it came to us looking like poori! hellow.. we been eating poori since we can walk laaaaa.. a tad disappointed :(



u need to take someone out? walk in and buy your arms!

Sibu market. the chicken and ducks are wrapped in paper before they are sold. Its a unique way of wrapping live stock and only found in East Malaysia.
