Sg Sendat

Welcome to Sg Sendat. Sg Sendat is near Batang Kali. The trip takes you through the town in Kuala Kubu Lama, a chinese town you will miss if you blink.. its that small..! to get there

on the way to the falls we saw this group of women, with a gadget they use to mine tin. Apparently there are still some nuggets left behind that you can find.. provided you use the kuali correctly :)

This Endau Rompin trip was organized by Rainforest Adventure. Run by Ben and his wife Neesa, they are all you need to plan a perfect outing such as this. Our journey started from Tangkak.. from there, you have to find your way to Taman Negara office, or call Ben.. cos i slept off and woke up at the office!

Now this trip was a MTB 4x4 challenge. So we have mountain bikers there who were planning to cycle 20 or so kms to the camp site, while the non cyclists followed in 4WD. Here you can see the bikers gearing up..

Jakarta-Surabaya - May 2007

We landed in Jakarta on a Wednesday. On Thusrday we just chilled and my nephew and I decided to look see around Bumikarsa in Jakarta.

Now my nephew can be quite inquisite..

and can be very creative !

I hooked up with some friends in Jakarta and we went for a lil' clubbing

and we hit Hard Rock Cafe

on Friday we did some sight seeing..

now this is a picture of Teh Botol.. and that's precisely what it is.. teh in a botol.. now teh botol is BIG in Jakarta.. so make sure u try it ya

shopping complexes in Jakarta.. if you are into getting your hair done, this is the place.. a complete hair treatment costs RM 10.. wohooo we pampered ourselves like no tomorrow :)

then came Saturday.. we left Jakarta for Surabaya

This is how Surabaya got its name.. Sura, which means shark in Tamil and baya, which means buaya.. The shark and buaya got into a fight.. errm.. hence the name !
