Ulu Geroh - Christmas 2006

To reach Ulu Geroh, take the North South Highway to Gopeng. At Gopeng, head to Gopeng Nature Resort where you can park your car. Once you reach, give Ngah or the guide a call and you get a ride into the kampung on their motorbikes. Tip - in the event you bring your dog, please dont attempt to ride the bike!




we stayed at this cool building.. made out of bamboos, resembling the Semai houses. Vella being so at home, except he crawled under the covers at night cos it gets super cold


saw lots of Rajah Brooke.. Im a huge fan now !









this is the trek that takes you to the rafflesia flowers. The trek is called "Pacat Trail".. we dint see any pacat.. not even one !

on the way back the Ngah showed me kacip fatimah plant.. known for its healing propeties, i expected it to be ermm... bigger :) then we saw ..

I stayed back for Christmas.. this is their Church and their faith in God is amazing :)
